Steven Thomas is a set designer and artist with a background in mechanical engineering and film production.

He currently works in the Art Department on a number of TV productions and is a member of IATSE 891. Most of his time is spent in Sketch Up designing sets and creating construction drawings. He has designed everything from chicken coops to space ships and also has experience as a miniature and model maker working in Los Angeles.

Born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba he received his engineering degree from the University of Manitoba. Then moved to Vancouver to pursue working in film.

When he's not working you can usually find him riding his bike around the city and attending a life drawing class.
